History enthusiasts shouldn't miss Gallarus Oratory. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and Mount Brandon this 1000-year-old stone church is one of the best-preserved in Ireland. The stacked-stone structure is the only one of its kind, and between its historic atmosphere and natural setting, you'll see its archeological value the second you lay eyes on it.
