Great Alternative to Trains and Rental Cars
The four of us used Daytrip from Budapest to Vienna, and Vienna to Prague. It was awesome! Both drivers were very professional and interesting. Being able to set our own schedule, and having door-to-door service was fantastic. Unbelievable that it was more economical than the train, and much more convenient! George/Jiri even provided us each with a bottle of water for the journey, which was much appreciated. Highly recommend this option when renting a car is not practical, or you want to relax and leave the driving to a professional!

Great Alternative to Trains or Rental Cars
Trains in Europe are fast and reliable. But you have to schlep your luggage to and from hotels and stations (picture suitcases rattling thru crowded cobblestone streets) and there is little ability to see things along the way. Cars offer the flexibility to go where and when you want, but you have to pickup and drop off the car and then do the driving yourself in countries where language and customs can be challenging. We've done both in the past. But we found that Daytrip offered an alternative with many benefits and little downside. Door to door service with zero hassles is the first advantage. A knowledgeable driver that takes you to interesting sites and acts as a tour guide if you like is another. Our drivers were also very interesting "locals" to talk to over the course of our trips (Budapest-Vienna, Vienna-Prague), and provided some of the most interesting insights of our vacation. And, especially with 6 people traveling as we were, the cost is also reasonable. And there was total flexibility to change things along the way if we wanted. So a great service that we highly recommend.

Euro trip
We travelled as a family of 7. We took cars throughout Europe. Berlin to Prague, Prague to Vienna, Vienna to Salzburg, Salzburg to Innsbruck, Innsbruck to Zurich and Zurich to Frankfurt. Each leg of our trip was on time with good drivers and door to door service. Much cheaper than train travel and no concern for dragging luggage on trains and stations. First class punctual service with good drivers and clean modern cars. I recommend this service to everyone.

Daytrip Is a Great Way to Travel
We recently used Daytrip to travel from Budapest to Vienna with a stop in Bratislava. Our second trip took us from Vienna to Prague with a stop in Trebic. Both trips were excellent, and we enjoyed the courteous drivers who spoke perfect English. The door to door convenience is wonderful. We certainly recommend Daytrip as a professional and excellent company.
All our drivers speak English as well as their native language (and sometimes additional languages too!). They're happy to discuss local history and culture with you, and answer any questions you may have. And because they speak the local language, they're able to provide you with a unique opportunity to connect with natives.
We screen all our drivers for criminal and traffic records, and personally interview each one. We also inspect their cars for safety, comfort, and reliability. All cars must be less than ten years old, in excellent operating condition, and insured as required by local law. And because our drivers are locals, they're familiar with the rules and customs of the road.
