Budapest to Krakow
First I must apologize to our driver, I forgot his name. He spoke English plus 4 other languages. The service was exactly what we expected from our Budapest hotel to our Krakow hotel. There was only two of us traveling and the car was a fairly new Peugeot sedan. It was clean and comfortable and my traveling companion was able to get a nap while we drove through Slovakia. We both had 26" suitcases and carry-ons. All 4 fit in his trunk. We choose not to stop for lunch so we could spend more time at the Orava Castle. The castle tour was nice but if you are planning on or have done several castle tours this one may be worth missing. Our drive made a special 5 minute stop at the Kabanos Sklep Firmowy and treated us to a sauage treat! I would definitely recommend this company when you just need to get away from crowds and trains,

Budapest to Krakow
Recently had a driver pick us up at our hotel in Budapest and drive us through Slovakia to our hotel in Krakow. Michal W. was a pleasure. He had great communication skills, recommended a very nice little restaurant to stop at for lunch, and was most helpful when we stopped at the Oravsky Castle for a tour. I would use Daytrip again in a heartbeat. It was actually much more relaxing than flying. No hassle with getting to the airport, security, etc. Door to door service, and all we had to do was sit back and watch the pretty scenery go by.

Convenience with interest
Our group of 3 had a recent trip from Budapest to Krakow. As the whole the trip was excellent. We saw far more and had far greater convenience than other modes of transport available to us. While it is a little more expensive the convenience and the side trips made up for that easily. The driver was waiting outside our door before the appointed time. He assisted with our luggage both before and after the trip was completed. He interpreted the language in both side stops we made and gave excellent advice on where to obtain meals and comfort stops. I highly recommend people take advantage of the side trips offered, especially if it an area not visited before.

Krakow to Budapest Great ride!
We used Daytrip in October of 2017 for a trip from Krakow to Budapest. Michael was our driver and he could not have been nicer. The drives was smooth and the stop at Orava Castle was well worth it. There was a festival on the street of our hotel in Budapest and no policeman spoke English! But never fear, door to door means door to door and he got us there. Can't recommend this company more highly!
All our drivers speak English as well as their native language (and sometimes additional languages too!). They're happy to discuss local history and culture with you, and answer any questions you may have. And because they speak the local language, they're able to provide you with a unique opportunity to connect with natives.
We screen all our drivers for criminal and traffic records, and personally interview each one. We also inspect their cars for safety, comfort, and reliability. All cars must be less than ten years old, in excellent operating condition, and insured as required by local law. And because our drivers are locals, they're familiar with the rules and customs of the road.
