If you are traveling from Amalfi to Naples between April and October, it's possible to take a ferry. There are four direct ferries a day from Amalfi to Naples operated by NLG, and Alilauro runs a hydrofoil on weekends.

The earliest ferry is at 8:30 AM, and the last ferry usually departs at 3:55 PM. Tickets cost between 25-28.5 euros for the 1.5-hour trip. The ferry offers a great departing view of the Amalfi Coast but can get bumpy. Ferries may be delayed or canceled depending on the weather, so it's not the most reliable option. You also shouldn't expect to be dropped off at your accommodation like private transfers do.

Gesù Nuovo

This spacious pizza on the western side of Naples has one of the most unique churches in the city. The Gesu Nuova church has an unforgettable Brutalist-Baroque facade and an opulent interior fit for royalty.
