Mexico
One of the country’s main tequila producers, this town is the perfect place to kick back, relax, and sip of some smooth spirits.
Although Arandas exports the most tequila in the region, it always welcomes visitors looking to warm up with a shot of local Cazadores Tequila. Those in search of something more substantial can sink their teeth into some smoked agave or grab a bite at one of the many taquerias in the town. The main plaza, Plaza Hidalgo, is a gathering point where locals basque in the sun while filling up on ice cream and other sweet treats. You can’t miss La Campana at one end of the Plaza Hidalgo! This 15,000kg bell is the largest in Mexico. Sitting alongside the colossal clapper is the Church of San Jose Obrero - the first stone was laid in 1879 and construction still continues today. See what Arandas has to offer all year round.
