Great decision to use Daytrip for our European holiday. 100% recommended!
My family of three spent 4 weeks travelling through a number of Western Europe countries. I used Daytrip for a total of six transfers (Rome - Florence, Florence - Venice, Venice - Salzburg, Salzburg - Hohenschwangau, Hohenschwangau - Munich and Munich - Lucerne). Each transfer (except one) went extremely smoothly, with late model cars, professional and pleasant drivers as well as on time transfers. The extra suggested stop-offs during the transfers were of great value. Our driver not only got us out to these places, but also helped buy the tickets and gave us some great history and background of where we were visiting. With the one transfer that did not go to plan, this actually impressed me even more about Daytrip. Not having used Daytrip before my biggest fear was what would happen if our driver did not turn up? For our Venice to Salzburg trip, just prior to our scheduled departure time, Daytrip contacted me to advise that their nominated driver had called in sick and was not able to drive us. But instead of any suggestion of leaving us stranded, Daytrip confirmed that they had already sourced and organised another driver to drive from Croatia to Venice and pick us up. They compensated me for the late departure by refunding 50% of the trip cost and we arrived in Salzburg just a few hours after I originally intended which was not a problem. So I loved the Daytrip drivers, the excellent communications and customer service, the door to door service, and the proven reliability.

Day trip - Venice to Salzburg, Salzburg to Prague, Prague to Budapest
We used Day trip to travel - Venice to Salzburg, Salzburg to Prague, Prague to Budapest It was a great experience, door to door service fantastic! We had been using trains and planes at the beginning of our journey in Europe. Journeys to and from the train station/airport with luggage and children etc..... not having enough room on the train to store luggage & luggage retrieval at the airport these hassles were not missed. Our 3 drivers: Tomáš R; Michal S; and Goran C All 3 drivers were wonderful, very knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and helpful. Always checking if we were ok, needed to stop etc. and very helpful with any questions we may have in general and more. I have recommended your business to all my family and friends, they have also spread the word to people they know... as they too agree that its a great service. We will defiantly be using your service again. Paula P.

Initially yes we were a bit skeptical using Daytrip. But as the day arrived, we had all the instructions on hand and our driver Mario was punctual. A pleasant, young and great driver, he took us on our journey from Venice to Salzburg. 9 seater van, he had good manoeuvre of the vehicle. Felt safe. So Mario, many thanks for the superb ride! We will surely use daytrip on our future European escapades.

Excellent and comfortable way to travel
Five of us join Daytrip on December 2016. The travel were from Krakow- Vienna, Vienna Ljubjana, Ljubjana-Zagreb, Zagreb- Venice, Venice-Salzburg, Salzburg-Hallstatt, Hallstatt- Prague and Prague-Budapest. We had a few stop from one point to another points. All drivers were excellent. This is the excellent way of travelling in Europe. I wish the expand to more other countries as well.
All our drivers speak English as well as their native language (and sometimes additional languages too!). They're happy to discuss local history and culture with you, and answer any questions you may have. And because they speak the local language, they're able to provide you with a unique opportunity to connect with natives.
We screen all our drivers for criminal and traffic records, and personally interview each one. We also inspect their cars for safety, comfort, and reliability. All cars must be less than ten years old, in excellent operating condition, and insured as required by local law. And because our drivers are locals, they're familiar with the rules and customs of the road.
Make changes to your booking or cancel your reservation up to 24 hours in advance and get a full refund.
If you’re traveling with children, make sure to let us know in the booking so we can get the appropriate child seats ready!

Gratuity isn’t included or required, but if you really enjoyed your trip, you can show your driver your appreciation with an optional tip (10% is sufficient).
Each passenger is allowed to have one checked bag and one carry on. If you’re traveling with more bags or oversized luggage, you can adjust this while booking.
