Great way to travel and excellent service
We booked 2 transfers - between Porec (Croatia) and Lake Bled(Slovenia), and between Ljubljana (Slovenia) and Vienna (Austria). Both drivers were punctual, spoke excellent English, were efficient, very polite and courteous. We changed our itinerary a couple of weeks beforehand and Daytrip managed our change with absolutely no problem. It was a fantastic door to door experience and we can't recommend the service highly enough.

Awesome Company and Drivers
I can not tell you how pleased I was with all my drivers on our four trips with your company. Each driver was right on time, usually early, very polite, friendly and professional. Driving in Europe is very different than driving in America, much faster and cars follow much too closely for my liking. With that said your drivers were very cautious and I never felt we were driving in excessive speed, and felt safe at all times. Each driver spoke English very well and there was no miscommunication, very open with conversation. I loved the fact that they were from different countries and I learned much about where they were from. They were also knowledgeable about the country we were heading to, even giving some advice on what to see when we arrived. Our first trip from Budapest to Prague was with a wonderful driver (sorry I can not remember his name) but he was so friendly and accommodating, even went with us to a special lunch place in Brno and picked us up when it was raining. Our trip from Vienna to Ljubljana was with Stanislav. He went well above and beyond to make our drive comfortable and fun. First he was super friendly and informative. I learned a great deal about his country and living in Eastern Europe in general. Very funny and relaxing to talk to. He made us all sorts of treats, drinks, sandwiches, pastries, and even fresh strawberries from his garden. He was a complete delight and even stopped in a small village for a short restroom, coffee break. Much appreciated!! All in all I would definitely recommend Daytrip to anyone traveling through Europe, which I already have to some friends. Being picked up and dropped off at your accommodations is such a big advantage to traveling and a cost saver. With my family of four, the cost of taxi to and from airport/train station and tickets for all of us, Daytrip was actually saving us money and time. Win-win! Thank you drivers and Daytrip for making our European vacation a great one!

Private car from Ljubljana to Vienna with stopover at Maribor
We have a good and safe driver - Matic for our journey from Ljubljana to Vienna. He also assisted us in our luggage too. He also has shared 1-2 places in Maribor for us to spend 1.5hours there. Comfortable car
All our drivers speak English as well as their native language (and sometimes additional languages too!). They're happy to discuss local history and culture with you, and answer any questions you may have. And because they speak the local language, they're able to provide you with a unique opportunity to connect with natives.
We screen all our drivers for criminal and traffic records, and personally interview each one. We also inspect their cars for safety, comfort, and reliability. All cars must be less than ten years old, in excellent operating condition, and insured as required by local law. And because our drivers are locals, they're familiar with the rules and customs of the road.
Make changes to your booking or cancel your reservation up to 24 hours in advance and get a full refund.
If you’re traveling with children, make sure to let us know in the booking so we can get the appropriate child seats ready!
Pets are allowed (and loved)! We just need to know beforehand. You can tell us about them in the next phase of the booking.
Gratuity isn’t included or required, but if you really enjoyed your trip, you can show your driver your appreciation with an optional tip (10% is sufficient).
Each passenger is allowed to have one checked bag and one carry on. If you’re traveling with more bags or oversized luggage, you can adjust this while booking.
Pay by credit card online, or by cash (in any currency) directly to your driver!
Every traveler deserves real insight into the cultures of the countries they’re visiting. And every amazing place on Earth deserves to be visited and appreciated. We believe unique local knowledge and real human connection are irreplaceable when it comes to truly comprehending another culture.
