Zell am See Kaprun to Milan

Milan is one of the major fashion capitals of the world with fashion, elegance, and money at its core.

From Zell am See Kaprun Lakeside town with fabulous panoramic views

The town has its very own `home mountain,' the Schmittenhohe, reached by hiking trails from the town centre. Further afield is the famous Kitzsteinhorn glacier, Austria's very first glacier ski region, and still a favourite with skiers and snowboarders, and also home to Gipfelwelt 3000, a complex at the summit. At over 3,000 feet above sea-level the views are utterly stunning, especially aided by viewing platforms with views of the valley, Lake Zell, and the seemingly endless chain of Alpine mountains. The National Park Gallery is full of fascinating information on the region's natural wonders, both geological and technological, while `Cinema 3000` runs `Kitzsteinhorn - The Nature' a documentary film shown on an 8-metre wide screen. Zell am See itself is not to be neglected, and there are many charming nooks and corners in this historic town. St. Hippolyte's Church with its ornate parapet resting on carved columns of precious marble is one such.

To Milan A city of elegance

One of the most popular shopping destinations with Prada, Gucci, and Fendi all in tow, is Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Named after the kingdom of Italy's first king, this galleria is one of the oldest shopping malls in the world, standing 4 stories tall, adorned in Gothic style, and a unique iron and glass roof. The Galleria connects two of Milan's most famous landmarks: the Teatro Alla Scala and The Duomo. This intricate Duomo took over 600 years to complete and is full of detail including a sundial adorned with astrological signs on the marble floor. After one is done marveling at the duomo, and rubbing your heel for good luck in the galleria, make sure you see some of the many masterpieces Milan has to offer including the infamous painting of the Last Supper at Milan's Santa Maria delle Grazie.
