From Seefeld

All year round alpine beauty

The fresh, crisp mountain air and the views make Seefeld an excellent place to stop by at any time of the year. When exploring the village the legendary pilgrimage church of St. Oswald situated in the market square begs for a visit. The church was the site of the “Miracle of the Host” in the fourteenth-century. Details of the miracle are displayed near the altar in the church. A popular and fun thing to do is to get out of the village and take the Rosshutte, the train that takes visitors up the mountain. Experience the jaw-dropping views of the surrounding nature as the train makes it way up the mountain and stops at the large panoramic restaurant, café, and outdoor seating/activity area. There are not many better or more memorable places to stop for lunch. After all, who could resist a taste of traditional Austrian cuisine in an alpine setting to die for?
