The Triple Frontier is a tri-border area where Paraguay, Argentina, and Brazil meet at the natural convergence of the Iguazu river and the Parana river. Each country has erected an obelisk with the colors of the designated country’s flag. This tri-border area is mostly a tourist region as the closest cities are a few kilometers away from the border. Due to the convergence of these 3 countries, you will be able to experience a dynamic cultural fusion. Listen to see if you can hear the different dialects of Spanish, or visit each country to sample their cuisine! This is one of the only areas in the world with a triple frontier, so if you are in the area, it is a must see!
