Krka National Park is situated along the Krka River in Central Dalmatia. The park's lakes and waterfalls make it the ideal spot for swimming and exploring nature. More than half of the Krka River is part of the national park, which includes the majority of the river lakes and two bountiful waterfall systems - Roski Slap and Skradinski Buk. There are over 222 bird species and 17 fish species residing in the area. Along with its vast wildlife, Krka also houses an ethno museum, the Visovac Monastery, and many caves and ruins.
