Golden Gate View PointA Suspenseful Scene
You can’t visit San Francisco without heading to a Golden Gate View Point! The Golden Gate Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the 1.6 km wide, 4.8 km long strait between the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay. The city’s (and arguably one of the country’s) most iconic landmark connects San Francisco with Marin Country in the northwestern Bay Area. The most photographed bridge in the world was constructed between 1933 and 1937 and today is number one on every visitor’s must-see list. The view from Battery Spencer, an artillery battery built in the late 1800’s, is one you’ll probably recognise. There’ll be time for a little hike before you settle down to see the most famous views of the Golden Gate Bridge, which are visible from this prime clifftop position.
