la_lucia's note for Trevi Fountain:
Throw a coin into the fountain to return to Rome... A legend for daffy tourists? - well, sometimes it's fun doing all this stuff that thousands of other people do :) The fountain itself is breathtakingly beautiful. It was immortalized in Fellini's classic movie "La Dolce Vita" (1959).

la_lucia's note for Gelateria Giolitti:
Take a break and have some ice-cream! Giolitti is beyond any doubt the best "gelateria" in Rome. You'll understand it after you try.

The baroque Piazza Navona is an elegant hot-spot in the heart of Rome.

la_lucia's note for Trastevere:
Finish your day in the hip Trastevere district at the other side of Tiber, where you'll find a plethora of restaurants, clubs and trattorias.
